LCDE and CARE's Typhoon "Tisoy" Response in Samar
Making an effort to be first on the ground! LCDe through its donor CARE Philippines, distributed rice to 358 families from 2 upland communities of Mapanas, North Samar. These areas were hard hit by Typhoon Tisoy last December 2, 2019. The LCDe team conducted rapid damage needs assessment and hurdled the challenges like difficult roads. People from the affected barrios expressed their appreciation as no other private organization has ever gone this far to help them. LCDe is grateful for the support of the Municipal Government of Mapanas, North Samar.
